The Homestead Dance Team
Jordyn had photos two days in a row! First for Senior Pictures, then Dance team photos! Of course she is gorgeous in both, but today is all about her.
We met in the morning when the chill of fall was in the air, but the sun and her smile quickly warmed the day. Jordyn has been a member of Homestead Dance team and currently is a Varsity team member. She works at Buffalo Wings and Ribs.
Jordyn plans to be a pharmacist and is looking at University of Tennessee, University of Cincinnati, Purdue University and Manchester University.
This was not a conventional senior session by any means! These guys drove up to Northern Michigan to meet up with their Mom and I where we had spent a wonderful weekend with our high school friends. We went to the beach, an awesome pine forest and through the campground. Paul and William are full of energy and we had a great time.
The twins go to Lapeer High School where they are on the Varsity Tennis Team. They spend their spare time working for their Dad and Genesee Stone as well as volunteering at church. Both boys hope to become engineers and are looking at Purdue (Hail Purdue!) and (U of M) Cough, sputter.
Many blessings boys!
I was so excited to have the opportunity to take Anna’s senior pictures! Not only is she sweet and gorgeous, but she dances with a grace and beauty that takes your breath away.
Anna made the transition to Project Ballet, formerly The New American Youth Ballet in Fort Wayne in the 8th grade in order to facilitate both her dance and educational studies. Last summer she spent in New York at the school of American Ballet. In a few weeks, she will be leaving to spend her senior year under the tutelage of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet.
Over the next several months, Anna plans to audition for both Indiana University and Butler University Dance Programs as well as several ballet companies throughout the country.
This beautiful Homestead Senior has such a warm heart. We had so much fun at her session, with mom Tonya helping! I love Foster Park because the gardens are always filled with color and texture. Perfect backdrop!
Mackenzie plans to study nursing next year at either Ball State or IPFW following in the footsteps of many generations on her mom’s side. She will soon start an internship at Lutheran Hospital in the adult and pediatric ER. In her spare time, she works at “The Stand” and enjoys shopping and loves animals. Many blessings Mackenzie!
