  • Welcome!

Thank you for stopping by. I’m the owner of Kera Cervoni Photography and I want to create memories for you. I’m married with three children and live in the Fort Wayne area. I studied Nursing at Michigan State University. I picked up camera one day and never put it down. “ Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph.” – Matt Hardy

What a perfect way to celebrate the class on 2016!  The day was warm (very warm) and sunny, which seems few and far between this spring.  Nate is an East Noble Senior who chose Salomon Farms for his session.  He  seemed to feel right at home there since he lives in a historic farm house on his family farm where they raise cattle.

Nate plans to attend Purdue next Fall with a major to be determined.  I wish the best for you!

This lovely girl had to wait for the sun to shine, but it was well worth it!  Nkiru’s life is full.  She was a Homestead Varsity Basketball player, a student government officer, a member of The Fellowship of Christian Leaders and interns at Lutheran Hospital.  As you can see by her gorgeous picture, she has chosen to attend Temple University in the Fall.  All the best Nkiru!

Nkiru is all shades of gorgeous

Friday we had a gorgeous spring day to round out Emily’s Senior Pictures.  She plans to study business at Ivy Tech while immersing herself in the Fort Wayne Ballet’s trainee program.  One day Emily hopes to open her own dance studio.  Thank you for choosing me!  Best of luck in all you do!

Highlights from our Magic Hour session with Derric and his family.

Derric is a sophomore at Eastside High School in Butler, Indiana.  Almost one year ago, just shy of his 15th birthday, Derric began to experience pain in what felt like his teeth.  This progressed to a “knot” like lesion under his eye.  After visits to the dentist and doctor, it was felt that he had a sinus infection.  One morning Derric awoke feeling numbness in the right side of his face.  This led to a CT scan, an MRI and ultimate discovery of the mass.  The biopsy revealed that he has Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma or ARMS.

After months of aggressive chemotherapy that resulted in a 30lb weight loss and a tremendous loss of strength, Derric is starting to feel better. With the help of an awesome oncologist here, a crew of wonderful nurses and a lot of hope and prayers,  Derric is slowly gaining weight and strength back with the help of physical therapy. He will finish his last chemo treatments on May 2-3, 2016. “We hope and PRAY in the few weeks thereafter that the PET scans come back NED (no new evidence of disease)!!!”

Thank you to Derric, his parents Joe and Teresa , sisters Briggan and McKenna for sharing your story.  It was an honor to meet you and help you to capture memories.  Congratulations to Briggan and her fiance Jeff on their engagement!  You can follow Derric’s progress on his Facebook page Team Derric Team Derric

A big thank you to Olivia Koob for assisting!  I couldn’t have done it without you!  *credit for the fairy trail brushes and butterfly to

Wonderful Family and beautiful pictures

This Homestead Senior loves to play baseball and fish.  He also has a pretty cool truck.  After graduation he hopes to become a fire fighter and hasn’t ruled out serving our country in the military.

Whatever he does, I’m sure he will do it well.  All the best Ridge!
